Dr. Chao-Qiang Lai is a USDA-ARS research molecular biologist and geneticist in the Nutrition and Genomics Laboratory at the Jean-Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. His research focuses on the relationship between nutrition, genetics, and healthy aging - in particular, epigenomics, metabolomics, gene-diet interactions, and risk prediction and prevention of cardiovascular and metabolic disease. Dr. Lai published and contributed to over 150 publications in the fields of nutritional genomics, cardio-metabolic diseases, and aging.
