I am a PhD Candidate in the Graduate Group in Nutritional Biology at the University of California, Davis and a member of the Bennett Lab at the USDA-ARS Western Human Nutrition Research Center. My research uses multi-omic approaches to understand the roles of nutrition, the gut microbiome, and host-genetics on cardiometabolic disease. I am passionate about exercise and interested in determining the biological factors that make exercise effective at extending healthspan. My career goals include furthering precision health through bioinformatic approaches. I am looking to expand my network of nutritional scientists and would love to answer questions about my research.
