Janie C. DiNatale, MS, RD is a third year doctoral candidate in Human Nutrition at the University of Alabama. She completed her dietetic training at the University of New Hampshire, where she also received her Masters of Science in Nutritional Science. Her research objectives include understanding the role of dietary bioactive compounds on metabolic and vascular function, oxidative stress, and inflammation in the context of cardiometabolic diseases. She also investigates the effect of dietary modifications on fetal cardiometbaolic programming.
