Zhangling Chen, MD, PhD

I am a postdoc at the department of Epidemiology, Erasmus Medical Center and also a visiting scholar at the department of Nutrition, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. My research focuses on the role of nutrition and gut microbiome in the development of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. To explore these associations, I work with data from several large population-based cohorts, including the Rotterdam Study, the Health Professionals Follow-up Study, the Nurses’ Health Study and so on.
