Anna Ogilvie is a PhD candidate who is researching the impact of dietary fat on serum endotoxin concentrations and associated inflammatory markers in older adults. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont and completed her dietetic internship at Syracuse University. She received an IFNH pilot award (2021) to study inflammatory potential of dietary endotoxin in foods that will lead to understanding how it impacts human health. In addition to her research, she coordinates and teaches weight loss classes to the community through Rutgers University Institute of Food, Nutrition and Health (IFNH). Her passion is the impact of diet on the prevention and treatment of nutrition related conditions that occur in the geriatric population.
