Dr. Joanne Cole (she/her) is a complex trait human geneticist and an Assistant Professor in the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine and Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Under the scientific premise that nearly all human traits are influenced by human genetic variation, including dietary intake, she leverages large-scale biobanks and diverse cohorts to address gaps in nutritional epidemiology and metabolic disease research in hopes of transforming metabolic disease prevention and care with personalized nutrition.
