Dr. Jaapna Dhillon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her research examines 1) the effects of dietary and exercise interventions on cardiometabolic outcomes and the gut microbiome, and 2) pre- and post-ingestive controls of food intake. In general, her work is focused on using systems biology approaches to understand the effects of nutrition on health and in alleviating health disparities.
