Vignesh Nathan completed his BS in Health and Disease (Biology) from Purdue University in May 2021. His undergraduate research focused on using probiotic feed additives to improve swine nutrition and health. He has also worked as an intern at B2S Life Sciences developing a COVID-19 antibody test. He joined Dr. Lavanya Reddivari’s Lab in August 2021 to pursue a PhD in Food Science where his current research aims to understand the role various blueberry polyphenols play in improving gut barrier integrity and inflammation in piglets during early weaning stress.
