Biochemistry PhD Candidate
The Graduate Center CUNY
My name is Ismail Kadam, and I am a PhD Candidate in the Biochemistry Program at The Graduate Center CUNY. I am conducting my research at Brooklyn College investigating the epigenetic impact of dietary choline on children’s growth outcomes exposed to gestational diabetes mellitus. Research is like a puzzle to me, and I enjoy thinking through what needs to be done as well as honing my laboratory, technical, and soft skills throughout the process. I hope to carry over my skills and cheerful outlook into the industry. In my free time I like to be active by lifting weights, or more recently rock climbing, and learn to cook new recipes.
