Tara is a PhD candidate in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto. She is currently researching the effects of genetic exposures of micronutrient metabolism on premenstrual symptoms. Her research interests include understanding how lifestyle factors (such as diet, physical activity, or sleep) can mitigate the risk of reproductive conditions in females. Outside of her thesis work, she enjoys reading novels, cross-fit and trying new cafés.
