Miranda Loutet is a PhD Candidate in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto and affiliated with the Centre for Global Child Health, SickKids Hospital. She previously completed her BSc in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University and MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has 10 years of experience in public health, working in international and national governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, and academia in a variety of fields from infectious disease, maternal and child health, and sexual and reproductive health. Miranda's PhD is embedded within the Synbiotics for the Early Prevention of Severe Infections in Infants (SEPSiS) Observational Cohort Study in Dhaka, Bangladesh and specifically aims to generate new evidence regarding the quantification and classification of early-infant feeding patterns.
