Dr. Lopez Teros has a BSc in Biological Chemistry by Universidad de Sonora; and MSc, DSc in Nutrition by the Research Center for Food and Development. She is a Professor at Universidad de Sonora where she is the Head of Graduate Health Sciences School (2022-). Dr. Lopez-Teros is a member of the Mexican National Research System (Level 1, 2017-). She has directed undergraduate and graduate students’ theses. Dr. Lopez-Teros has 30 peer-reviewed publications. She is a member of the American Society for Nutrition and the Latin American Society for Nutrition.
