Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Channing Division of Network Medicine, Department of Medicine, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School
I currently am a postdoctoral research fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. My current research focuses on understanding how what we eat impacts our risk of chronic diseases. Specifically, I analyze large datasets from thousands of individuals using epidemiologic methods in order to contribute knowledge to inform public health nutrition recommendations. I have spent over a decade working in public health with experience spanning research administration, research utilizing both wet and dry lab approaches, and communicating science to diverse audiences. I bring a unique background with in depth knowledge of technical methods such as mass spectrometry, cell culture, and PCR, and big picture understanding of statistical and epidemiologic methods to inform public health action. I love connecting with others who are passionate about improving human health.
