Lisa Harnack, DrPH RD is a Professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. She conducts research to identify policies and programs that are effective in supporting good nutrition and health for all. She has led or collaborated on dozens of studies and published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers. She also directs the University of Minnesota Nutrition Coordinating Center (NCC). This Center developed, maintains, and supports two widely used dietary assessment tools- Nutrition Data System for Research (NDSR) and the NCC Food and Nutrient Database.
