Mr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in the field of development and nutrition. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Party and Nutrition Team Lead for the Feed the Future Bangladesh Livestock and Nutrition Activity of ACDI/VOCA, he brings over 25 years of invaluable experience working with renowned organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, CARE, ACDI/VOCA, ADRA, and others.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kamruzzaman has been actively involved in designing and implementing various projects focused on nutrition, food security, education, and humanitarian assistance, both in Bangladesh and internationally. He has demonstrated expertise in community mobilization, capacity-building advocacy, market and value chain analysis, as well as evidence-based learning, making him a respected champion in his field.
His contributions to the implementation of nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive projects have been significant, forging partnerships with private sectors, government departments, NGOs, UN organizations, civil society, and academia. This collaborative approach has been instrumental in driving positive change and achieving project goals. Mr. Kamruzzaman is an expert in Social Behavioral Change (SBC) activities, utilizing techniques such as barrier analysis, materials development, and campaign design to bring about behavioral transformations. Furthermore, he has successfully collaborated with private companies to strengthen input and output marketing in various sectors, including food commodities, feed, medicine, financial services, training services, and ICT. His exemplary work in managing projects has earned him recognition from prestigious organizations such as USAID, EU, DFID, as well as individual donors and foundations. Mr. Kamruzzaman's commitment and expertise have been instrumental in improving the lives of communities and advancing development initiatives.
Mr. Kamruzzaman obtained his MSc in Nutrition Food Science and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Asia in Bangladesh, further enhancing his academic foundation and expertise in his field of work.
