Tian Wang, MS, RD, is an Australian Accredited Practising Dietitian, a Chinese Registered Dietitian, and a PhD candidate in Medicine and Health at The University of Sydney. Tian started her dietetic practice in 2020 and she worked in clinical nutrition, and nutrition research. Tian leads the nutrition intervention of the LIVEPLUS trial, which aims to assess the effects of a one-year lifestyle intervention, comprising a 5:2 pesco-vegetarian diet, on low attenuation plaque, in adults with coronary heart disease. Tian’s PhD thesis focuses on plant-based diets and cardiovascular disease. She has a great passion for studying the prevention and management of cardiometabolic diseases through nutritional interventions. Her long-term career goal is to become a professor in Nutrition, where she can disseminate evidence-based nutritional knowledge to the population.
