Dr. Marissa Burgermaster is a faculty member in Nutritional Sciences and Population Health at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research applies biomedical informatics methods to improve nutrition and community health, with a special focus on marginalized groups. Dr. Burgermaster's research on data-driven collaborative diet goal setting in primary care is funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. She holds a PhD in Behavioral Nutrition and an MA in biomedical informatics from Columbia University.
