Yuliet Ballester-Hernandez is a dietetics master's student at FIU. With a solid academic background, she earned her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Havana, Cuba. She currently works as a graduate research assistant at FIU. She actively contributes to nutrition-related research, specifically as part of the Miami Adult Studies in HIV Cohort. She is a student member of the Academy of Nutrition and the American Society of Nutrition. Her ultimate aspiration is to become a registered dietitian specializing in clinical nutrition, empowering individuals to lead healthier lives through evidence-based dietary interventions.
