Doctoral researcher
Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine, Luxembourg
I studied food science at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland for my BSc and MSc degree. For the latter I specialized in health and nutrition with a minor in microbiology. The focus of my research was mainly on iron deficiency. Afterwards, I started my PhD in Systems and Molecular Biomedicine at the University of Luxembourg in March 2021. My PhD project focuses on the connection and underlying mechanisms linking nutrition, the gut microbiome and chronic disease, especially rheumatoid arthritis.
