Heather S. Fagnant is a research dietitian and project coordinator at the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, Military Nutrition Division. In this position, she coordinates nutrition research studies assessing the impacts of gut-targeted nutrition interventions on gastrointestinal, cognitive, and performance outcomes in military relevant populations. She has also published research asssessing the impacts of eating behaviors on nutrient status in young adults and on energy intakes of military personnel during sustained live-fire military training exercises.
