Dr. Christina Sciarrillo is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) - NIDDK within the laboratory of Dr. Kevin Hall, where she studies how diet and nutrition influences the regulation of body weight, metabolism, and energy intake. Prior to Christina’s time at the NIH, Christina was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine studying the developmental programming of obesity. She earned an M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University, where her research focused primarily on pediatric non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. She is also a Registered Dietitian and passionate about empowering and supporting the next generation of nutrition scientists.
