Cora Best is an Assistant Professor in the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department at the University of Florida. Her lab group conducts metabolic and clinical research on nutritional influences on kidney and bone health. Dr. Best is a nutrition scientist and registered dietitian nutritionist who is focused on generating nutrition evidence and elevating the role of nutrition in patient care. She currently serves as the Dennis M. Bier Early Career Editor for the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and the Chair of the ASN Medical Nutrition Council.
