Graduate Student
Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
Jing Feng is a recent graduate from the MSPH/RD program under the Human Nutrition Department at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She successfully completed her 1200 hours of supervised practice at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, which led to her becoming a registered dietitian nutritionist.
Jing's academic background encompasses both public health and dietetics, allowing her to develop a strong passion for promoting sustainable and healthy dietary patterns. Specifically, she is dedicated to advocating for the incorporation of more plant-based foods into people's diets. During her culminating public health rotation with the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, Jing collaborated with Hopkins dining to implement the Meatless Monday Campaign among students at the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus.
As part of her involvement in the campaign, Jing contributed to the development of educational materials on plant-based protein for college athletes. Additionally, she conducted data analysis for the Meatless Monday Newsletter Survey as part of the Monday Campaign.
Jing is eager to present her work at the American Society for Nutrition Conference and hopes to connect with fellow scientists and health professionals who share her passion for promoting sustainable and healthy eating habits.
