Undergraduate Student
Louisiana State University
Corinne Bosch is a sophomore majoring in Nutrition and Food Science on the pre-med track at LSU. She started her research journey working for Dr. Erin McKinley as a Presidential Student Aid Scholar freshman year.
Along with Imani Carr, she helped carry out three trials of a creative cooking program, which studied college students' food literacy before and after being taught basic nutrition information, planning skills, and cooking skills.
She also conducted a survey of LSU students' medical dietary restrictions with Kritee Niroula, a graduate student. Corinne is presenting these survey results at ASN. She plans to expand this research by conducting additional interviews, and will subsequently continue collecting data based off of the interview results.
Next year she will be the President-elect of the Student Nutrition and Dietetics Association and the Secretary of the LSU Triathlon club.
