Introducing Dr. Su-Min Jeong, a physician and researcher in the field of Family Medicine. Dr. Jeong holds an MD degree from Chung Nam National University College of Medicine, an MS in Clinical Medical Sciences from Seoul National University Graduate School of Medicine, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Family Medicine at Seoul National University.
With a diverse and extensive professional experience, Dr. Jeong has made significant contributions to medical research. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Seoul National University College of Medicine, they are also affiliated with the Department of Family Medicine at Seoul National University Health Service Center and Seoul National University Hospital. Previously, Dr. Jeong held positions as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Samsung Medical Center and Seoul Metropolitan Government-Seoul National University Boramae Medical Center. They have also conducted research as a Visiting Scientist at the Department of Nutrition, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Jeong's research focuses on various important areas within the field of Family Medicine. They have authored numerous publications covering a wide range of topics, including the associations between mental health and lower urinary tract symptoms, the impact of uric acid on cerebral microbleeds, the relationship between anemia and dementia, the effects of cholesterol level changes on mortality and cardiovascular disease risk, and the increased risk of osteoporosis in gastric cancer survivors, among others.
