Kelly Parker is a postdoctoral research fellow at North Dakota State University and the research coordinator for the Motivation and Healthy Adult Development (MHAD) Laboratory. She has a background in exercise science & nutrition as well as gerontology. Her research revolves around preventing and slowing the progression of chronic diseases such as diabetes and Alzheimer's disease through lifestyle modification and behavior change. She focuses on increasing dietary antioxidants through fruit and vegetable intake and increasing habitual physical activity. She resides on a small hobby farm with her husband and their animals.
