Ph.D. Candidate
Wageningen University and Research, Netherlands
Michele is a software developer specializing in studying eating behavior through AI and computer vision. For his Ph.D. at Wageningen University and Research, he is developing a system that can detect bites, chews, swallows, and sips, significantly reducing the time and errors involved in manually annotating meal video recordings. His project is expected to benefit researchers in future eating behavior studies by providing faster and more reliable measurements. He is a visiting student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Senseable City Lab.
