Graduate PhD Student
University of São Paulo, Brazil
I am currently a PhD student in Nutrition in Public Health at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. With a Biology and Bioinformatics background, I developed a huge passion towards understanding the complex relationship between several dimensions of biological and environmental factors in the context of dyslypidemias and cardiovascular diseases. Throughout my career path, I have worked mostly with Statistical Genetics in the context of GWAS and genetic/polygenic risk scores, so one of my main interests is Precision Medicine and Nutrition. I believe this a very promising and necessary research field, so I am willing to develop myself professionally to address the so many interesting and important questions in this area. My additional interests comprise performing arts (dance), physical activity and food behavior.
