Dorothy Superdock recently graduated with her Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in May 2023, where she was a doctoral student in the lab of Dr. Angela Poole. Her dissertation focused on the relationships between genetics, dietary intake, and oral and gut microbes. Prior to Cornell, she graduated with her B.A. in Biology with a minor in English Literature from Swarthmore College and then worked at the University of Pennsylvania/ Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Penn-CHOP Microbiome Program. In July, she has just transitioned to her new role as a postdoctoral associate in the lab of Dr. Lawrence David at Duke University where she will continue to pursue her research interests of genomics and nutrition.
