Janine is a fourth-year PhD candidate with a concentration in Molecular Nutrition at Cornell University. She conducts research in the lab of Dr. Elizabeth Johnson, investigating how gut microbes metabolize dietary fatty acids and thereby influence the effects of these fatty acids on the host. Janine is also completing Didactic Program in Dietetics coursework at Cornell as she pursues accreditation as a registered dietitian.
