Saralyn Foster is a Registered Dietitian and Doctoral Candidate at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Nutritional Sciences. She worked as a pediatric dietitian for over ten years before returning to academia. Ms. Foster is interested in studying perinatal, maternal, and pediatric nutrition focusing on dietary quality and growth during the first 1,000 days. She received her BS in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University in College Station, completed her dietetic internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX, and MS in Health and Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
