Dr. Dora Meyer is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Institute of Nutritional Medicine, Technical University of Munich, Germany. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Curry College, Boston, MA, and began her career as an R.N. at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. She went on to complete an MSc. in public health at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, and an MSc. in nutrition and biomedicine at the Technical University in Munich, Germany. Her doctoral work at the Institute of Nutritional Medicine focused on maternal and fetal biomarkers associated with early childhood obesity. Her research interests include examining how perinatal and early life influences shape the trajectory of weight gain and adipose tissue development in children.
