John Oliver Estadilla is a young public health professional currently serving as the KOICA Maternal Newborn and Child Health Project Health Specialist at World Vision Philippines. With a strong background in research and program management, he has actively addressed various public health issues, including child malnutrition, maternal and child health, food security, and overweight/obesity. His work as a Health Specialist involves leading the adaptation and piloting of the Timed and Targeted Counseling (TTC) and Family MUAC Approach Project Model for Health and Nutrition in the Philippines, while also supporting advocacy initiatives and engaging with diverse stakeholders. John's research interests encompass a broad range of topics, including adolescent pregnancy, the health referral system, and interventions related to diabetes mellitus, nutritional assessment, dietary supplementation, and micronutrient fortification. With his extensive experience in project management and research, John brings a wealth of expertise and a dedication to advancing public health and nutrition. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Community Nutrition at University of the Philippines – Diliman and Master of Science in Public Health (Nutrition) degree from University of the Philippines – Manila.
